What would be your dream vacation?

What's your favorite book and why?
Well this question bites the big one. I love to read! I think I still love "Dear John" by Nicholas Sparks the best. Why? I don't know, because the ending was pretty sad. I think ... I just felt in some small way, relatable to the character that spent her whole life WAITING for him to come home.
What's the one thing you could change about your life?
I think the one thing I have control over, is how I choose to wake up each morning and live my day. I get sucked into a blackhole of negative energy on a regular basis. Because I hate my job (I never intended waitressing tables to be a long-term thing), I hate that I'm having trouble getting my career started and I don't think I enjoy Maine as much as I probably should. I don't have the control over my geography, but I do have some modicum of control over ME.
What's your most secret pleasure?
Oh, and wouldn't you just love to know. Some secrets are meant to be secrets.
What's your favorite meal?
Filet Mignon with baked potato with a great class of Chianti.
Did you like high school or hate it?
I had a good time. :)
I was incredibly involved with the music program: Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Pep Band for B-Ball season. Maybe being a band geek was a stupid thing to be, but hey, I had 100+ geeky friends my first day of high school. And I enjoyed myself. And I get to say that I've been a musician for 15 years. That's impressive.
What's your fashion sense or style?
Comfort my friends, comfort. I'm a t-shirt and jeans kind of girl and I always have been. I've started thinking recently that I need to just grow up and buy nicer clothing, but there's just some form of nostalgia that comes from putting on my t-shirt, jeans and sneakers.
Name one thing that you can't live without that isn't your family or pet.
If I can't name my family or my fur-babies ... there's pretty much anything that I CAN survive without. I thought that I needed horseback riding to stay sane ... but as it turns out, I can do without that particular comfort in life. I miss it, yes: but it hasn't killed me to NOT go riding on Saturday morning.
If you could only eat one food item for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
a Loaded baked potato. I love potatoes. Starch and I tend to get along quite well.
What is your greatest accomplishment in life up until this point that it not milspouse related?

To iphone or not to iphone, that is the question.
No. All I want to do is make a phone call or send a text message, not play a game or an app or surf the net or reserve boarding passes via iPhone or check the weather... The iPhone is an unnecessary expense in my opinion.
If you could be any television character, who would you want to be and why?
Addision Forbes-Montgomery. She's beautiful, she's talented, she's intelligent and she's even a little bit sassy. Totally my kind of girl.
If they made a movie about your life, what would it be called and what actor would play you?
They'd call it "Beautifully Unexpected" and I think perhaps Alexis Bledel would play me.
Describe yourself using only three words.
Smart, sassy and talkative
What would you do for a Klondike bar?
Not much. I'd walk to the store and buy a box.
Tell me something that not a lot of people know about you.
I eat my sandwiches upside down. And I don't even do it on purpose. The upside down part is a little more noticeable if I eat my sandwich on a roll, not on regular sliced bread. ;)

Don't be an iphone hater. :P
ReplyDeleteI am totally on the anti-iphone train. I just need to make a phone call and text, what's with the million other options!?
ReplyDeleteOh, and if we lived closer together, we could definitely be horseback riding buddies. :-) Sigh!
