Mirror Image ... aka "Mirage"

Found these in my photobucket, too! :-)

For you fellow horse folks ... he's a 1994 KWPN gelding; trained through 3rd level dressage, was working 2nd. This is the horse that taught me how to really ride the big trot and the big canter ... and potentially one of the most difficult, stubborn and hard-headed horses in the barn. Bucking was pretty standard ... and he reared in the middle of our clinic with Peter Borggreve from the Warendorf Landgestüt. (Covers face).  But... riding the difficult horse gave me "no fear" when it came to everything else; because I've been there and done that.

  2. that's a cute pic, that last one. Riding horses is really one of the things that I've always wanted to do but never did. I had family that had horses and I would go visit and ride them for their exercises in the summer. Once I helped train a former trail horse for ring riding. that was fun...sigh...
but anyway, that is a truly beautiful horse.
