The Gods Must Be Crazy

I've been intermittenly training with the Couch to 5K program for a few weeks now; and I say intermittenly because I've been on again/off again sick with the flu, sinus infection or a cold generally as soon as I start working on a bracket that starts pushing the limits of difficult.

Today, however: I figured the cold season won't last forever. And I want to do something that has been on my perpetual "To-Do List" for quite some time ... I signed up for a 5K race! The one I chose is a walk/run, and will be run at twilight in June; which gives me plenty of time to prepare, all illnesses included. And? If it turns out that I've been down with the sickness for too long? It is in fact a walk/run ... but I would love to actually run it!
Next goal afte a 5K? a 5K Mud Run. :]

  1. Oooh, I definitely don't miss all the head colds from living in the northeast. It's very admirable, though, that you are sticking to your goal of a 5K!
