Happy Birthday to Meeee ... ?

Before we moved from CA -- I loved driving my 2009 Scion tC. Not that I needed the horses under the hood or anything, considering I'd been pulled over for excessive speeding back in 2008. But then... I realized that tC sat too low on the ground to handle a reasonable amount of snow, so I turned the car back in and bought a 2010 Toyota Corolla.

My dad has worked for Toyota corporate in their IT department for the last 25 years, and as such: I've had the benefit of an associate lease program. For a low monthly payment ... it included unlimited mileage, insurance, and all maintenance. Example: cracked windshield = replaced for free! And, all leases were a term of 1-3 years, so in other words? I went through vehicles like most people go through trading cards. I'm not even 25 years old and I've had the privilege of driving 5 brand new vehicles. I've been in my Corolla for 2 years now ... and I miss the ability to trade in a car, especially considering while waiting for my 10,000 mile maintenance on the Corolla ... I took the new tC for a spin.

L-O-V-E.
And a sticker price of $19.2 .... a good $7,000 more expensive. Reality: I can't afford that car in this point in my life.

But it's so on my 25th birthday wish list, esp. considering my little speed demon incident officially rolls off my record in May. :-)

  1. Oooooh so pretty. I wouldn't mind one of those, but sadly if we get a new car it'll have to be a big family one. I love Scion though

  3. Whoa, the latest TC version is so sporty-looking! I own a 2009 model and I absolutely, positively love it. My only two gripes with it are 1) it's a two-door and I really miss four doors and 2) what's up with the teeny tiny trunk? I miss having space in my trunk!

    Hope yo uget it :)
