It suddenly dawned on me that I've been ... uber lackluster with blogging. And I think that's because right now? I feel boring. All I've been doing for the last few weeks is pulling 50+ hours between two jobs and my free time is occupied with playing with the dog and/or going for a jog.
I did have a gigantic "GAAHHHH" moment this morning with my husband. He's not going to be a happy camper when he opens his wallet tomorrow and finds that I've taken his debit and credit cards... and instead have left him with $10 and a note. Sorry, but after 3 or 4 months of asking nicely? I'm done with the $100/week at the gas station every morning. I can think of a much better place to put $400.Considering I get paid in cash every week at OG ... he can see me for his weekly allowance that does not include gas. The kicker here? I bought him the lunch meats that he likes, the chips that he likes, the bread he likes, and the cereal and coffee he likes.
Money isn't tight ... it's just extremely unnecessary spending in my opinion; especially when you consider the $100/week grocery runs. (Most of that cost = fresh produce/vegetables and proteins).
But other than that, July is going to prove to be a busy month. I leave for Baltimore on July 1, and shortly after, Drew and I head west to Orange County, CA to enjoy a weeklong vacations with some of our favorite people, places and restaurants!
